Welcome to our blog, delighted that you found us 🤗🤗
My name is Fadzai, the founder and CEO of Intentional Parenting CIC. I am a Gods girl, wife and mother to our two munchkins. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, got married and had our son before migrating to UK 😇. You will read a lot about parenting in #diaspora, the exciting and challenging stuff. It has been quite a ride🎢🎡
I love reading, writing, travelling, spending quiet time in prayer and being with my family. On other days you will catch me supporting nurses and doctors in safeguarding children in local and private hospitals. I love teaching about my passions. I believe that pasta bake served with garlic bread, leafy salad and a refreshing drink is a magical meal 😍. I have found lipstick to be a game changer, currently looking to replace a lovely orange one. Let your girl know if you stumble upon one that suits dark skin girls💄.
Intentional Parenting is a global community of parents who meet online and face to face. This was birthed out of my own personal and professional experiences of the challenges faced parenting away from home . We host weekly Friday webinar at 8pm GMT / UK time. We will be talking all things parenting. I have hosted workshops and spoken broadly to faith communities about parenting matters. Check out the blog posts for summaries of most webinars.
We have since continued with 6am prayer group for 30mins. We have found this to be strategic and helpful in getting started on the day and setting a tone to the rest of the day.
In May we embarked on the 21 Days of Encountering Gods love devotion. The feedback a has been amazing. We meet via telephone at 6am UK time for 30mins Monday to Friday.
We are now in June and persevering in prayer. The second week of June, we took time to pray into race and reconciliation using The Bridge devotional.
We are excited about the present and more delighted to influence the future.
Want to find out more about the work we do, why don’t you join us on one of our platforms below or send us an email.
